in the studio: t-shirt design

i designed these t-shirts for my church’s college group retreat. i hand-lettered three words: ‘the’, ‘word’ and ‘flesh’. i used futura and archer for the rest of the type. i added some distress to the design and picked a nice soft alternative apparel tee in chocolate. the design is a bit small on the guys sizes, since i had to size it to fit nicely on the women’s small.  the colors didn’t turn out perfect, but were passable.

NOTE ON THE SHIRTS: i would highly recommend alternative apparel shirts, they are soft and comfortable, but they run EXTREMELY small (especially in ladies sizes).
