the story: we found this gem of a press on ebay. we have been looking for awhile, but wanted to try and find a “light” letterpress (my dream was to get a golding pearl). BUT THEN, we found something even better… she’s only about 700 lbs and the inside of the chase is 9×13″ {small footprint + lightweight + large print area = our ideal letterpress}. we are pretty sure she is a Samson press, made sometime during the late 1800′s. we are still trying to think up a name for her.
